Aim:

             Aim of this project is IoT based intelligent traffic system. The rules braking vehicles are tracking and controlling by traffic system.


Introduction:

            Connected-vehicles (CV) technologies are designed to save lives, improve personal mobility, enhance economic productivity, reduce environmental impacts, and transform public agency operations. Connected vehicles are vehicles that use different communication methods, such as sensor on-board (V2S), vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V), vehicle-to-road infrastructure (V2R), and vehicle-to-Internet (V2I), to build a connected road network with other road users on the road [1]. However, the current connected vehicles on the road are very limited compared to the total number of vehicles. Since there is no communication between unconnected vehicles and the CV network, the real-time traffic information of unconnected vehicles could not be obtained by the connected vehicles. Therefore, the full benefit of the CV network could not be achieved since only partial road users’ information can be shared on the road.


             This paper is used to detect rules breaking vehicles. Detect vehicles with road side LiDAR. RFID reader is used to detect the specific rules breaking vehicles. IoT is implemented in this paper and it is used to data transmission between vehicle and traffic system. This paper introduces a new-generation LiDAR-enhanced connected infrastructures that actively sense the high-resolution status of surrounding traffic participants with roadside LiDAR sensors 


Proposed system:

                 Proposed system is introduces a LiDAR data processing process, which can detect the rules breaking vehicles in traffic situation. LiDAR sensor is connected to smart traffic signal system and its sense road side vehicles. Radio-frequency identification (RFID) uses electromagnetic fields to automatically identify and track tags attached to objects. The tags contain electronically stored information.
