Design and Fabrication of Cardamom Plucking Machine

Aim :

          The primary goal  is to design and development of a cardamom plucking equipment to facilitate cardamom harvesting in the agricultural sector.

Proposed system:

         Cardamom harvesting is done manually by the labor climbing on the trees. So in order to avoid climbing and to solve the problems related in this field it is essential to have cardamom plucking equipment.

Advantages:

• This machine will be reduced the time and man power.
• Low cost.
• Low maintenance cost.
• Easy handling.

Abstract :

             The primary goal  is to design and development of a cardamom plucking equipment to facilitate cardamom harvesting in the agricultural sector. Cardamom harvesting is done manually by the labor climbing on the trees. So in order to avoid climbing and to solve the problems related in this field it is essential to have cardamom plucking equipment. According to the PDS five different concepts were generated in order to overcome the usability, safety and the ergonomic issues related to the problem.
