Aim:

                 The main aim of this project is to provide a secure LBS in smart cities with privacy preserving top-k spatial-textual keyword query scheme.


Synopsis:

                The convergence of technologies like Cloud computing, mobile and smart phone technologies has led to the rapid development of Location-Based Services (LBS) in smart cities. For flexibility and cost savings, there is a recent trend to migrate LBS to the Cloud, however it poses a serious threat to the user privacy. In this paper, we present a new privacy preserving top-k spatial-textual keyword query scheme, called Pystin, which is performed over outsourced Cloud and can enable secure LBS in smart cities. In Pystin, a query user’s accurate location is protected by the combination of BGN homomorphic encryption and hash bucket techniques, and the privacy of textual information are persevered by a one-way hash function. In addition, a quad-tree based spatial-textual indexing is integrated into Pystin to further reduce the query latency. Detailed security analyses show that the proposed Pystin scheme is indeed a privacy-preserving top-k spatial-textual keyword query scheme. Furthermore, extensive experiments are conducted, and results confirm the scalability, efficiency properties of our proposed Pystin scheme.


Proposed System:

     Here an authenticated user will be allowed to use our LBS services. The first part of our services is Check-in scenario. First when the user selects the check-in option , user need to select the category of place and  the user’s current location will be taken and undergone Rough Range Algorithm. Now the location data will be hashed using the user’s key and the request will be sent to the cloud server. As a result the relevant places will be sent as response as hashes encoded with respective user’s key. When an authenticated Pystin user signin into the application they can do search query and look for their user defined places with some special keywords. First our application checks for user’s current GPS location and process it into rough range calculation then the hashed location will be sent to the server along with the hashes of this user query and check with the existing hash-table. Then the matching places will be sent as response to the user. Hence all relevant places matching the user’s category will be plotted into map layout.

  •           User’s location based queries will be kept safe in cloud
