Aim:

          The aim of the project is to build an autonomous robot for surveillance at restricted area using Raspberry pi and Machine Learning algorithms.


Introduction:

          At present, human work is greatly reduced by machines in each doable method. Mostly, computers and robots play a serious role in our day to day life. In recent times, most the military organizations take the assistance of military robots to hold several risky jobs. In general, a mechanism could be a combination of mechanical and physics model designed by humans to perform a particular task. Robots have immense applications in military and industrial space, such as, for lifting significant weights and playing same task many times with efficiency with none committing any errors in contrast to humans.

            In this project, we are designing a robot to continuously monitor the restricted area with the help of machine learning model. It has raspberry pi as main controller with USB camera and 4 wheel robot setup. USB camera mounted on the servo motor which has the ability to cover area of 270 degree angle. Raspberry pi read the image frames continuously from camera and fed in to the machine learning model to identify the presence of human. It is connected with local area network through wireless mode and transmits live video to the local server. When detects the human, it sends the alert signal to the cloud database. This robot has the features to operate in manual mode as well as autonomous mode. This robot can be used wherever continuous visual monitoring required without or with minimal human attention.


Proposed System:

          In Proposed system, we are detecting humans along with live video transmission. And it can operate in both autonomous and manual mode. We are using pre-trained tensor model to detect the humans.
