Description

Aim:

Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā  To raise awareness that individuals can save lives and improve the health of others by donating blood .To encourage people to donate blood voluntarily without compensation. To support the operation of safe and reliable blood services.

Abstract:

Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā  Automated Blood Bank is an associate work that brings voluntary blood donors and those in need of blood on to an emergency situation. This paper proposes an efficient way for finding the donors who are near by the seeker’s location which helps in emergency situation. When a person requires blood then he/she should raise a request through a Mobile Application which was visible for all donors. Then the seeker can also find nearby blood banks. Once the donor accepts the request then the details of the donor will be shared to the seeker and directions will be shown to the donor. Until the donor accepts the request, the details will not be shared with the seeker. Once the blood donation is completed, the donor will update the status. Verification of the registering users will be done using OTP (One Time Password).

Existing System:

Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā  In the existing system people are very busy in search of blood in emergency .Some may find and some cannot find it in required time which may lead to dangerous situation. And there is no proper data confidentiality which may lead to security breach at some situation. And the donors who are willing to donate must not have any medical history. When there is a need for blood in emergency then the doctor will search for nearby blood banks and patient relatives search for friends and relatives with matching blood group. Overview of the existing procedure can be seen in Donor willing to donate and patient criteria does not likely to be same round the clock like Location of the donor.

Proposed System:

Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā  The proposed system is to create an android application through which the donors willing to donate are easily available at required time. Donor whenever the donor is not connected to internet even then he will be able to donated blood with the help of Message .When a seeker is in need of blood then they raise a request and the request is passed through the donor in the form of message. This project is developed to serve the people in emergency by showing the nearby person who are willing to donate blood. Users while registering they provide need to provide their blood group and currently residing address.

Disadvantage:

  • No blood should be donated by an individual with anaemia.
  • Donors who have blood-borne illnesses should not apply for blood donation.
  • People un weighted by height do not donate blood from their heights.

Advantages

  • The seeker and donor Address are Stored Secured.
  • It is quickly identified the nearest blood bank and donors. It stores a large number of donor details which are used in emergency situations.
