AIM:

The mainstay of the project is to design and develop a robot based system that is used for trimming the grass which controlled by bluetooth.

Introduction:

In recent years, the integration of robotics and wireless communication has significantly advanced, leading to innovative solutions for various applications. One such application is the development of an autonomous robotic vehicle that can be controlled wirelessly and equipped with obstacle avoidance capabilities. This project focuses on developing a Bluetooth-controlled autonomous robotic vehicle using an Arduino microcontroller as the core controller. The robot features two DC motors for navigation and a third motor for a blade mechanism, all controlled via a Bluetooth module connected to a smartphone application. This setup allows for seamless remote operation. To enhance autonomy and safety, the robot is equipped with an ultrasonic sensor for obstacle detection. When an obstacle is identified, the robot changes its direction to avoid collisions, ensuring smooth navigation. The integration of Bluetooth control and ultrasonic sensing technology not only provides the user with the flexibility of remote control but also ensures that the robot can operate independently in various environments. This makes it ideal for applications such as automated lawn mowing, floor cleaning, and other tasks requiring both manual and autonomous capabilities. The project demonstrates the potential of combining straightforward yet effective technologies to create innovative and practical solutions in robotics, showcasing the versatility and efficiency of modern robotic systems.

Existing system:

Existing work in the field of remote-controlled robotic vehicles primarily involves basic remote control mechanisms and straightforward pre-programmed navigation routes. These systems typically rely heavily on manual operation, lacking the integration of advanced sensors necessary for real-time obstacle detection and autonomous navigation. Although some models incorporate wireless communication technologies, they often miss the seamless integration with Bluetooth, which would allow for more user-friendly control via smartphones. Furthermore, many of these existing systems do not include real-time obstacle avoidance capabilities, significantly limiting their effectiveness in dynamic and unpredictable environments

Ā Proposed system:

The proposed system aims to develop an advanced Bluetooth-controlled robotic vehicle utilizing an Arduino microcontroller as the central processor. This robot is equipped with two DC motors for navigation and a third motor for operating a blade mechanism, providing versatile functionality. The core innovation lies in the integration of a Bluetooth module, enabling seamless remote control via a smartphone application. This allows users to easily direct the robot’s movements and actions from a distance. To enhance the robot’s autonomous capabilities, an ultrasonic sensor is incorporated to detect obstacles in its path. When an obstacle is detected, the robot intelligently alters its direction to avoid collisions, ensuring smooth and safe navigation. In addition to these basic functionalities, the robot’s system is designed to be highly responsive and adaptable, allowing for real-time adjustments based on the immediate environment. The Bluetooth control interface is user-friendly, offering intuitive commands that can be executed with minimal delay. The ultrasonic sensor provides precise distance measurements, allowing the robot to effectively navigate complex terrains and avoid potential hazards.
